Biography

Mr. Yonis Ali Mukhtar joined SIMAD UNIVERSITY in 2014 as a Secretary in the Faculty of Management Sciences. He obtained his Master of Science in finance from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Malaysia in 2018. He also earned his bachelor of Business Administration (BA) From SIMAD UNIVERSITY, Somalia in 2014. His research and teaching interests are in the areas of corporate finance, real estate finance, international finance & financial derivatives. He has supervised many undergraduate students in the different areas of BA, finance and Banking. Apart from his research, office duties and teaching activities, Mr. Yonis Ali has been heavily involved in development and curriculum review of the faculty programs such as Bachelor of banking & Finance, Bachelor of Business Administration. He was the faculty of Education secretary, SIMAD University, from 2015 to 2016.
